Diane Anderson, LCSW-R, CASAC, Founder & Co-Director
Diane is a New York State Certified Social Worker and a Credentialed Alcohol & Substance Abuse Counselor. She is the Assistant Director of HIV Services at St. John's Riverside Hospital, a New York State AIDS Institute Designated AIDS Center. Diane's diverse experience includes work with the developmentally disabled, the severely mentally retarded, alcohol and substance users and people living with HIV/AIDS.

Diane combines her healthcare experience with a love of animals. She is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, a certified Delta Society Pet Partner, a Licensed Pet Partner Instructor and Evaluator. She shares her life with two canine companions, Tara and Torrie - German Shepherd Dogs. In addition, five cats and a flock of chickens grace her life.

Kay Scott, LCSW-R, CASAC, Founder & Co-Director

Kay is a Licensed Clnical Social Worker and Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor. She is the Director of HIV Services at St. Johns Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY.  She is currently pursing her Ph.D. in Social Work at Fordham University.   She plans to do her dissertation on the healing power of the presence of animals. 

Kay brings many years experience as an educator and manager of both volunteers and paid staff. In addition, she has extensive experience obtaining and managing grants.

Kay combines her diverse background with her love for and experience with canines. She trains people and their canines to enjoy peaceful and mutually fulfilling relationships.  Kay is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, the International Assocaion of Canine Professionals, a Delta Society Pet Partner, Delta Pet Partner Instructor and Evaluator. She provides both private and group instruction in pet dog training.  She lives with two Golden Retreivers, both of whom are Delta Society Pet Partners - Spirit and Diamond.  She is the guardian of  two Australian Shepherds both of whom enjoy herding, hiking and agility - Tucker & Jasper.  Kay continues her work with animal assisted crisis response that she began shortly after 9/11.

Barry Rosen, Trainer

Barry is a Pet Partner insturctor and evaluator.  He is also a pet dog traner and  professional photographer specializing in canine sports.  You can see his work at www.barryrosen.com.
